CCC to host information night for EXCEL program 
The EXCEL Degree Completion Program will host an Information Night for the Bachelor of Science in Business degree. The informal event is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday in the Alleman Building at 1381 S. Main on the Central Christian College campus.

SCHOLARLY communications that add global mass of knowledge are professional journals, books, series, monographs, encyclopaedias, conference proceedings, bulletins and so on. It is estimated that the global mass of knowledge becomes double in every two to three years.

Writers at Home Series begins 
ASHEVILLE - UNC Asheville’s 2006-07 Writers at Home Series begins with readings by local writers Christopher Brookhouse and Gary Ettari at 3 p.m. Sept. 17 at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Caf , 55 Haywood St. The event is free to the public.
