GIA to offer more education scholarships in 2007 JULY 18, 2006 - Carlsbad, Calif. — The Gemological Institute of America’s (GIA) Board of Governors announced the release of $65,000 from the GIA Endowment Fund to go toward academic scholarships for 2007, according to a media release.

Indian varsity denies closing its Dubai centre New Delhi/Dubai: Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirapalli-based Bharathidasan University has denied closing its distance-learning centre in Dubai and said exams that have been delayed will be held next month.
